Dear diary,

Today, Nibby once again confirmed that any gods that do exist merely laugh at our eternal torment. I am confused. Sleeping brings nightmares I don’t understand: faces with too many eyes. Things that should not exist. Characters from those Japanimation things. I don’t want to sleep anymore. But being awake is just as terrible. Things move in the shadows. Babies, maybe. I don’t know. I never know. Nibby has officially made the nightmare of snakes hatching from my eye sockets seem reasonable. I yearn for a time of innocence, but I know that I can never go back to that.

Save me from the nothing I have become.
